This new course is designed to follow on from from my previous courses, although it will also be suitable for anyone with experience of acrylics looking to develop their ideas, their own creative voice and identity.

During the course we will:

• focus on key elements within painting, such as drawing, composition, meaning, intention, colour and depth.
• consider personal approaches to these topics and what may be important to you within them as part of the develpoment and identification of your own personal voice.
• look at a range of work by other artists, including some artists selected by particpants, and follow on with practical painting exercises to explore and develop your own art practice from the point it is currently at.

The process will include:

• discussion
• looking at examples from a variety of artists /styles
• working through your ideas with paint and process.
